ANNiE LONDONDERRY (Date of birth unknown) 1870 – 11/11/1947

An amateur cyclist, she embarked on a solo bicycle ride around the world. She set off from Boston on June 25, 1894, and completed her tour on September 12, 1895. After her feat, many women followed her example and began to ride bicycles.

Ciclista dilettante, si cimentò nel giro del mondo in bicicletta in solitaria. Partì da Boston il 25 giugno del 1894 e concluse il suo tour il 12 settembre 1895. Dopo la sua impresa molte donne seguirono il suo esempio e cominciarono a guidare le biciclette.
