Amelia Earhart (24/07/1897 – 02/07/1937)

American aviator, in 1931 she was the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic and in 1935 the first to cross the Pacific alone. She disappeared with her plane in 1937 while attempting to circumnavigate the globe flying over the equator. Among her activities, her fashion design stands out for her interest in creating more comfortable and practical women’s clothing.
